Adoption Assistance

Siemens Healthineers provides Adoption Assistance to support employees who have chosen to legally adopt a child and will also provide assistance with the costs associated with the adoption procedure.

This policy does not apply to employees covered by a collective bargaining agreement unless the collective bargaining agreement provides for or permits application of this policy to bargaining unit employees.

The intent of this program is to assist the employee financially as well as in establishing a parental relationship with the adopted child. Adoption agency fees, placement fees, attorney and legal fees, travel expenses and many more expenses are covered under the adoption policy.
