What’s Changing

Remember to review your benefits

Most of your current benefit elections will automatically roll over to 2027. HSA and FSA contributions are the exception—you’ll need to make a new election if you want to contribute to either account in 2027.

UnitedHealthcare participants: Your plan will automatically roll over to a corresponding plan with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield if you do not make an election during Annual Enrollment.

One national medical carrier for 2027

Starting January 1, 2027, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield will be the medical carrier for both Siemens Healthineers national medical plans. You’ll continue to have the same two national medical plan options you know today: the Health Reimbursement Copay Advantage Plan and the Health Savings Medical Plan.

If you’re currently enrolled in a UnitedHealthcare plan, your coverage will automatically transition to the same plan design through Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield for 2027. You can also review your options during Annual Enrollment and choose a different plan if that better meets your needs.

Make sure your providers are in-network

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield offers a broad network of doctors, specialists, hospitals and other health care providers. If you’re currently enrolled with UnitedHealthcare, take a few minutes to confirm that your current providers are in the Anthem network for 2027.

  1. Visit anthem.com and go to Find Care.
  2. Select the network and state for your Siemens Healthineers medical plan.
  3. Search for your doctor, specialist, hospital or other provider.
  4. Confirm that your provider is in-network.

If you have questions about a provider’s network status, contact Anthem before receiving care to confirm your provider is in-network. You can also contact your Alight Health Pro at 833-935-3328 or through Health Pro Connection to confirm your provider’s network status or find a new provider.
