Making Changes
Getting married? Welcoming a new baby? Life changes, and your benefits can change with you. A Qualified Life Event allows you to make certain changes to your benefits during the plan year.
Qualified Life Events
Generally, you may only change your benefit elections during the Annual Enrollment period unless you experience a Qualified Life Event. If you do not make changes within 30 days of the Qualified Life Event, you must wait until the next Annual Enrollment period to make changes (unless you experience another Qualified Life Event).

How to Make Changes
If you experience a Qualified Life Event, such as marriage, birth, or divorce, contact the Siemens Healthineers Benefits Center (SHBC) at 833-935-3328 or visit mySHSbenefits.com within 30 days of the qualifying event to update your coverage.
