Ready to explore your Siemens Healthineers benefits? We’re here to help you understand your eligibility and who you can cover. As you get ready to enroll, take note of important enrollment windows. If you enroll dependents, remember to complete dependent verification by the deadline.

New Hires

You are eligible to enroll in the Siemens Healthineers benefit plans if you are a full-time employee working at least 30 hours per week or a part-time employee working at least 20 hours a week. Most of your benefits are effective on the first day of the month following your date of hire.

When Can I Enroll?

You can enroll in benefits 48 hours after your start date. You have 30 days from your date of hire to enroll.
If you do not enroll within 30 days of your date of hire, you will have to wait until the next Annual Enrollment period to enroll, unless you experience a Qualified Life Event.

Eligible Dependents

You may enroll your eligible dependents for coverage once you are eligible. Your eligible dependents include:

• Your legal spouse or qualified domestic partner
• Children under the age of 26, regardless of student, dependency, or marital status
• Children who are fully dependent on you for support due to a mental or physical disability, and who are indicated as such on your federal tax return, may continue coverage past age 26

Dependent Verification

If you add dependents to your medical, dental, vision, spouse life, and/or Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) plans, the company will request copies of marriage certificates, birth certificates, and/or proof of common residence to verify the eligibility of your dependents. It’s important that you provide the required documentation by the communicated deadline to ensure your newly enrolled dependents have coverage.
