Be Well Reimbursement Program

Whether you’re into fitness, mindfulness, or wellness tech, this benefit helps you invest in yourself with up to $300 in reimbursements per year towards eligible health and wellness products and services.

  • This program is available to all regular full-time and part-time employees at Siemens Healthineers and its USA affiliates that have adopted this Policy (each, a “participating company”) who are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week, subject to applicable collective bargaining agreements. To be eligible, you must be actively at work at the time the expense is incurred and reimbursed.
  • You do not need to be enrolled in a Siemens Healthineers medical plan
  • Dependents (spouse, partner, children) are not eligible
  • If both you and your spouse work at Siemens Healthineers in participating companies, you’re both eligible

How it works

When you spend money on eligible well-being items, the company will reimburse you up to $300 each calendar year (subject to federal, state, and local taxes) via payroll.

Expenses reimbursed by the company are considered taxable income to you and will be reported on your W-2 form at year-end. The company will reimburse expenses incurred and submitted for reimbursement while you are an active employee with a participating company.

Transfers and mid-year hires

You can be reimbursed up to $300 for eligible expenses based on your employment status: expenses must be incurred while you work for a participating company. If you transfer or are rehired in the same year, you’re still eligible for the full $300, but you cannot exceed the annual maximum across all employment periods.
